Federos Unified Service Manager (USM) provides a powerful and flexible automated end-to-end network provisioning solution
Integration and workflow business logic is defined using a powerful Business Process Management (BPM) engine which enables the automation and accurate measurement of business efficiency and quality. The Configuration Management module provides device configuration templates that can be tailored by Network Architects and automatically populated with data supplied by provisioning or administrative teams from existing OSS tools (such as CRM platforms for customer data and CMDBs for infrastructure data). Data is automatically fed into the process improving efficiency, eliminating data integrity issues and automating end-to-end processes to significantly reduce provisioning times whilst ensuring quality and accuracy. The Configuration Management module enables configuration templates to be written for standard services. These templates, defined by the network administrators, form the basis of future deployments. Each template can be customised during the commissioning process for individual installations. This module also defines audit policies, enabling automated real-time compliance analysis of the infrastructure at the point of change. For example, an Access Control policy ensures that any device modifications (including on-site manual changes) are recorded and reported by the system.
SINGLE INTERFACE FOR ALL IT OPERATIONS
Federos integrates with networks databases and OSS tools to provide a single point of access. This delivers a unified view of the network and service relationships, allowing central management and configuration. Information can be entered once and delivered to all relevant systems reducing duplication of data and improving accuracy. Another key aspect is the ability of Federos to sit on top of other databases to provide an additional layer of control. This enables customers to define rules within Federos that prevent activity allowed by the CRM, including enforced data integrity and data validated at point of entry.
