FEDEROS™ DELIVERING ELASTIC ETHERNET

The Federos™ Unified Service Manager orchestrates fully automated service changes across multiple carriers. Service bandwidth changes are requested through Federos integrated with NCM (Network Configuration Manager) to orchestrate configuration changes to network devices and make B2B API calls or corresponding changes to be implemented using network configuration tools. Throughout the change, Federos monitors the status of the service change to ensure all parts are configured before notifying the user of the successful change. At the core of the TDB Fusion solution lies Federos™, built to leverage existing domain investments and capabilities, break-down silos across operations, and unify management through workflow driven automation.

Federos™ orchestrates network changes across multiple carriers, upon receipt of a customer service request. Changes are implemented in minutes, without human intervention, during the Elastic Ethernet service modification. Elastic Ethernet capability was first demonstrated at the MEF (Metro Ethernet Forum) GEN14 Networking Event in 2014 together with Tata Communications and Allstream Networks.
